PITTSBURGH, PA (January 31, 2023) – Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is pleased to announce that Annie Hanna Cestra, HHRES executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been named to the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission. The commission is responsible for granting and renewing real estate licenses, enforcing the laws relating to real estate and establishing continuing education requirements for licensees across the state.
Cestra has been appointed for a five-year term as the chair of the education and examination committee. This is Cestra’s second appointment to the commission, having previous served as chair.
“I am honored to have been appointed to the commission again,” said Cestra. “I look forward to serving the real estate community and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”
The commission is comprised of real estate leaders from across the state. As part of her new role, Cestra will also ensure that real estate schools in the state follow the commission’s rules and regulations.
