Williamsburg, VA – (October 19, 2021) – Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is pleased to announce Fred Smith as the new manager of the company’s Williamsburg office.
Smith has been a successful licensed agent for more than 18 years and during that time, has acquired diverse marketing and sales experience, including the development of long-term client relationships and a successful referral-based business. He has worked at several brokerages throughout Virginia in the past two decades and joined Howard Hanna in September 2021.

Smith has been affiliated with multiple industry groups, including serving as Vice-President/President-Elect of the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors® Board of Directors; Director/Past-President of the Williamsburg Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors; Committee Member, Virginia Realtors® Public Policy Committee; Committee Member/Vice-Chair, WAAR Public Policy Committee; Instructor of Continuing Education (Fair Housing, Public Policy) and MLS at WAAR; and as a past member of the Kingsmill Community Services Association Board of Directors.

Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hampden-Sydney College and is a 2019 graduate of the Virginia Realtors® Virginia Leadership Academy. Prior to joining the real estate industry, he worked as a financial advisor and stockbroker.
