What is the Military on the Move Program?
Military on the Move is a signature program from Howard Hanna Real Estate Services designed to make it easier for military personnel to buy and sell homes. Our Military on the Move Program* is absolutely free to qualified registrants and is designed to offer:
- Cash rewards and/or closing cost credits.
- A top-performing local real estate agent from our pre-screened and thoroughly trained Military on the Move Program.*
- The ability to take advantage of One-Stop Shopping as Howard Hanna Real Estate Services offers insurance, title, mortgage and real estate.
Who qualifies for Military on the Move?
While military personnel may have to move often during active duty, these aren’t the only people who can use our Military on the Move program! We’ve made it available to the following groups:
- Active duty military personnel
- Retired military personnel
- Wounded Warriors
- Department of Defense employees
In recognition of the sacrifices that veterans have made for our country, we offer this signature home buying and selling program to veterans in addition to active duty military personnel. And if you’re thinking about buying a house in the military, this program can help get you off on the right foot with a local real estate expert from Howard Hanna.
How does the Military on the Move program work?
If you are eligible for the Military on the Move program, we invite you to register today! We ask that qualifying individuals register in advance so that we can pair you with Howard Hanna real estate agents who specialize in servicing military members and veterans. They’re familiar with what’s involved in a military move and are well-positioned to help you buy or sell a home.
Once you’ve registered for the program, we’ll assist you in partnering with a Howard Hanna real estate agent in your area or the area where you will be moving. Depending on your needs, your agent will help you find your next home or help you sell your existing property (or, as is often the case – both!).
You’ll receive the cash reward and/or closing cost credits at your home’s closing. Because state laws vary, some restrictions may apply. We encourage you to register for the Military on the Move program – it’s free, and our real estate agents can explain to you the benefits you’ll receive in your state.
