Howard Hanna and Cleveland Browns Visit UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital to Support Patients and Medical Professionals Ahead of Crucial Catch Game

CLEVELAND, Ohio (October 14, 2026) — Howard Hanna and the Cleveland Browns teamed up to visit UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 8, to show support for patients, medical professionals and University Hospitals as part of the NFL’s Crucial Catch Campaign.

“Being partnered with the Cleveland Browns for Crucial Catch is a wonderful opportunity to bring together organizations that care deeply about our community and the children and families who need us most,” Alicia Kosec, president of Howard Hanna Ohio. “Through our partnership with UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s and the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund, we can help make sure that a family’s financial situation never stands in the way of a child receiving the care they need.”

During the visit, the organizations spent time at the hospital distributing blankets to patients and the Browns’ mascot Chomps and Howard Hanna’s mascot Iggy the Penguin made appearances. Additionally, Howard Hanna presented UH physicians with a $117,000 check through the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund (HHCFCF).

“We are deeply grateful for the support of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services’ Children’s Free Care Fund,” says Noam Stern, MD, division chief of pediatric palliative care at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. “Their generosity has helped us build a comprehensive palliative care team that addresses not only the physical, but also the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of children with life-threatening conditions. Our purpose is to add life to each child’s years, and the Children’s Free Care Fund helps us do that.”

During the Cleveland’s game on Oct. 18, Howard Hanna and the Browns will show a video in-stadium as part of the Crucial Catch initiative. The video will highlight Howard Hanna’s visit to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital as a celebration of the patients, families and medical professionals who inspire and support the fight against cancer every day.

“We are proud of the impact our agents and employees make through the Fund, and grateful to the Browns for helping shine a light on this important mission,” Kosec said. At the end of the day, it’s about supporting families when they need it most and giving every child the opportunity for a healthier future.”
